		<description>From what I can gather, there seems to be a reluctance on the part of many companies to take the time to do what you talk about here. Most importantly, to have a person dedicated to this community building (and I don&#039;t feel that just because I&#039;m looking for work!). Because the Internet offers instant communication I think some managers want to see instant, or close to instant, results. It doesn&#039;t happen this way normally. It&#039;s a classic forest for the trees scenario.
BTW, all the talk about branding and people reminds me of the famous line from the movie: &quot;Soylent Green is people.&quot; For social media I think we should change that to, &quot;Branding is People.&quot;</description>
